…fantastic organization, kudos to the putters-togetherers, and I’ll point out some cool projects shortly.
But please, please, please make this phrase disappear.
(PS, thanks for the ride home Bob).
UPDATE: you can see vids of the event, including some footage of me, here.

Glad you got to go!
Sounds like it was a great event.
By the way, I loved your recent post “no-jargon 10-point pledge” - I completely agree!

I just wish they had a more accessible way to listen to the audio from it.

I was blown away by the (un)conference. A genuine meeting of ideas and enthusiasm. The most satisfying tech conference I’ve attended. And, yes, all the marketing-speak helped me crystallize what it is I think is important about what I’m doing online. After our discussions, I’m actually looking for ways to un-monetize some of my projects now.

kevin; good to meet you too…
kristin: it’s all downloadable in quicktime now
matt: yeah I love these (un)conferences … so much diversity of interest and opinion. the marketing stuff is fine, it just doesn’t interest me as much as other things.
