    There’s something so heartwarming about big tough machines with exposed appendages like that. Ideally they would build it to just run on the back four wheels, or move the middle ones forward a bit and sip the front ones. But it needs stability and steering, so you get this weird mutant insectile version instead.

    My favorite is the vaccum buggies though. Zipping around and sucking.

    i bet it’s part drivetrain too: the back wheels push, front wheels pull … so you don’t get slipping.
